capt. Jacek Siewiera, commander of the mission to Lombardy and the USA
Polish medics commanded by capt. dr. n. med. Jacek Siewiera - the founder of Centrum Ratownictwa in the spring of 2020 participated in the military-medical mission to Italian Lombardy - the European epicenter of the coronavirus, and on April 23 at the request of the US authorities flew to Chicago to share their knowledge about how it succeeded to limit the spread of coronavirus in Lombardy. Both missions aimed at exchanging experiences on the forms and ways of organizing the national health system in terms of the effectiveness of fighting the epidemic.
