The rapid development of road infrastructure has contributed to the increase of road traffic and increase of road collisions in the area. The high urban accident rate and the specificity of threats is the region are affected by the urban conditioning of the city. The power of Łódź is the textile industry, witch is now becoming less and less important. The city authorities attach particular importance to the development of new technologies and infrastructures, attracting investors in the business and Logistics industry.
