AED in a public places
An Automatic External Defibrillator is a device that performs cardiac rhythm analysis and helps restore its normal operation. It is recommended to use AED in all cases of sudden cardiac arrest in any unconscious person.
Every year, more and more places are equipped with automatic external defibrillators. People's awareness of AED usage is also changing, which means that more and more people are using AED to provide first aid. In mid-March we started the "AED main hero" campaign on the Facebook profile of Centrum Ratownictwa. We encourage users to send us photos with a description of the place and location of automatic defibrillators. Centrum Ratownictwa also invites to training "First aid in life-threatening situations", during which participants learn the principle of AED and can practice how to use it.
