methodology of courses and training

In carrying out trainings, the instructors of the Centrum Ratownictwa use the most effective training methods. As the first in training the army and civilians, they use training methods designed for special units

In training for the army and civil companies, the instructors form Centrum Ratownictwa use experience and training techniques, which were until reserved only for soldiers of special forces and officers of anti-terrorist units.

The techniques we use are primarily simulated exercises. Instructors and helper actors are involved in simulation, who play the course of accidents and rescue operations in which the training participants must find themselves.

"Appearances" - simulations of rescue operations are recorded in real time on video, from three points of observation. In order to be able to cover all activities carried out. Then this film recording is discussed with the training participants and repeated in various scenarios. So to get the right result. Digital video records after the training remain at the disposal of the participants, and their content remains the secret of the training group.

These techniques use the phenomena of motor memory and mental training effective in practicing behaviors and procedures performed in conditions of strong pressure and stress that always accompanies rescue operations. First aid courses are held in groups of people adopted to the needs of the client and the specifics of the work of his staff.

The trainees at the Centrum Ratownictwa have ambulance, necessary equipment and two instructors who have many years of instructor experience and pedagogical preparation. Each course is based on practical exercises.

The methodology that we used during the training is based on the following scheme:

Experienced instructors discuss with students individual standards of conduct . They use a wide range of interactive techniques. At this stage, the coursants handle basic concepts and techniques of treatments. We work in small groups, which is why each training participant has the opportunity to ask questions and receive complex solution on first aid issues.
Our instructors have many years of clinical experience, at this stage of training they will show coursants the previously discussed schemes in practical application, including work ergonomics, safety of rescuers and the proper use and selection of appropriate equipment. This stage of training is the best moment for students to work with equipment and procedures under the watchful eye of our trainers.
When the techniques of the procedures are mastered, the equipment is learned and the concepts are fixed, it is the highest time to test yourself in the simulation exercise. Our instructors will do all they can to ensure that the skills gained from the exercises remain in the memory of students for a long time. The use of professional simulations and acting role of our trainers will provide a very realistic setting for the exercises.
The entire simulation is recorded and played back after the simulation. Thanks to this method, each participant of the training after watching the film sees himself in action and can evaluate their mistakes and progress in learning. The instructors will discuss errors and show how to avoid them in the future.
The whole educational procedure is repeated many times until satisfactory results are obtained. The goal is to prepare coursants for smooth operation without committing critical errors.By repeating activities during exercises will develop trainees' behavior, thanks to which, in a crisis situation, despite the phenomenon of narrowing the perception (as a result of stress), the training participant will work corectly.

The use of such didactic methods gives the possibility of the greatest intensity of training, they develop a task memory consisting in adapting the undertaken activities to the existing situations.

Wherever the foundation of efficacy is action, there the training must be based on practical training.
